500 gm Pumpkin
200 gm ginkgo nuts
100 gm organic barley
1/2 cup tropical pearl
100 gm organic raw cane sugar to your sweetness
4 pcs pandan leaves rinsed and tied into a knot (optional)
1.5 litre of filter water
The core or hearts in gingko taste bitter. Use a toothpick to push them out or the easy way is to half the gingko
and just pick it up with toothpick.
1.Peel and steam the pumpkin for 15 minutes until cooked.
2.Pour the cooked steam pumpkin, brown sugar in the vita-max blender blend until creamy keep aside.
3. Wash the barley rinse it thoroughly under running water.
After rinsing, add barley water to boil for one hour add pandan leaves, ginkgo,
cook for another 25 minutes hour till soft then add in tropical pearl cook for another 10 mins. turn down the heat.
Pearled barley should be simmered for about one hour.
4.Lastly pour the pumpkin puree and mixed well.
5.A sweet helathy Pumpkin Barley Ginkgo golden Dessert is now ready to serve with you and your family.
