Black Sesame Steam Buns


Black Sesame Buns


250 gm Hong Kong Flour or High Protein flour

150 gm Water

1 1/2 tsp Instant yeast

1/2 tsp Salt

50 gm Raw Sugar

1 tbsp Olive Oil

3-4 tbsp Black Sesame blend into power



1. Combine all ingredient flour, yeast, salt, sugar add in water to make a smooth dough.

Add in the olive oil and black sesame power.

Till dough is smooth and elastic to the touch.

2. Leave dough in a big bowl, covered with a damp cloth.

Leave it to rise for 45 minutes till it has doubled its size.

3. Divide dough into a shape of small ball buns and on cake paper.

Proof for another 45 minutes.

4. Steam for 10-15 minutes.
