Ingredients:

2 Horn Banana ( Pisang Tanduk )

1 1/2 cup of fresh grated coconut

********

Vegan Sambal Belacan:

4 Cherry tomatoes

1/2 tsp vegan belacan (baked )

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 raw cane sugar (optional)

4- 5 red chillies ( if you like spicy add 1 small red bird’s eye chilli)

1 onion

2 lime juice

Method:

1. Clean the horn banana under running tap water .Then cut the horn banana into 2 inci

2.Heat water in steamer.

3. Place the banana and grated coconut to steam for about 10 minutes.

4. Add all the sambal belacan ingredients in a blender , blend chunks.

Prefect match of  Horn banana with fresh grated coconut and vegan sambal belacan.
