I love Onigiri because it is easy to make and nutritious!Cook 2 cups of Five gains brown rice For filling : Diced some raw corn, carrot, cucumber, kelp, asparagus or any veggie you love. add 1 tsp of sea salt or 1 tsp of miso OR add this miso-burdock in your Onigiri miso-burdock-and-black-fungus Method:
Cook steamed multi-grains brown rice. Put about a half cup of steamed rice in a rice bowl. Wet your hands in water so that the rice won’t stick. Place the steamed rice on your hand and put your favorite filling, such as kelp any veggie you love in the rice.I like to use wrapping plastic paper to Push the filling into middle of the rice tightly. Hold the rice between your palms. Form the rice into a round, a triangle, or a cylinder by pressing lightly with your both palms. Roll the rice ball on your hands a few times, pressing plastic paper tightly.You can Wrap the rice ball with a strip of seaweed or sprinkle or roll with some black and white sesame seeds on them.
